The SeaI/O-470M-OEM is a robust and flexible I/O solution for demanding industrial environments. Designed with the Maxim MAX197 A/D chip, it offers a full range of analog and digital I/O capabilities in one compact module. It supports 8 optically isolated digital inputs with 300V external isolation and 8 open-collector outputs capable of sinking up to 580mA—perfect for switching industrial loads.

It features 8 differential or 16 single-ended 12-bit analog inputs with software-selectable ranges: 0–5V, 0–10V, ±5V, and ±10V. Each analog input can also be hardware-configured for 4–20mA current loop measurements. The 2 D/A output channels provide 12-bit resolution and are jumper-configurable for 0–5V or 0–10V outputs.

The SeaI/O-470M communicates over RS-485 using Modbus RTU protocol, offering reliable and long-distance industrial connectivity. It includes removable screw terminals for fast field installation and is compatible with SeaMAX software tools for both Windows and Linux.

Ideal for data acquisition, automation, test and measurement systems, the SeaI/O-470M can also be expanded using up to 246 additional SeaI/O N-series modules.
